Cawthorn Welding is a metal fabrication and boat building business located south of Hobart at Electrona Industrial Estate. Rob Cawthorn established the business in 1993 through a boat building contract for a 26 foot aluminium fishing boat.

Today Cawthorn Welding has a workforce of eleven employees with a strong and diverse set of skills & experience within the business. We are proud of our low staff turnover and have staff with years of service ranging from one to 25 years.

While we remain loyal to our core business in the aquaculture industry we have taken the opportunity from our location in the Electrona Industrial Estate that avails us of the reputation as the principal accurate fabrication business in the area.
